Released at the Assembly demoscene party
in 1993, Second Reality demonstrated the
artistic and technical power of the
PC platform at a time when the Amiga
dominated the demoscene.

The demo used clever low-level
programming tricks to achieve impressive
real-time effects on hardware that was
extremely limited by modern standards.

For many programmers, this demo was
the moment they realized that code
could be art.
